Come out to FUBAR Nightclub on Friday December 11 2009 for the sexiest holiday party in Raleigh!
LADIES – the fun starts at 9:00pm, with the instructors from Aradia Fitness providing FREE pole dance lessons until 10:30pm! Dress up in your sexiest holiday outfit and learn a few moves that might bump you onto Santa’s naughty list. Oooh… risque!
Aradia Fitness, Gel Salon and Patty with Passion Parties will be providing fantastic prizes to give away at 10:00pm! Win a goodie bag from Passion Parties (no coal in there!), a gift package from Gel Salon for a little pampering and then our grand prize… one month of beginner Pole Dance lessons at Aradia Fitness! Its a Deadutante Ball… our sexy take on Halloween!

Hey Ladies! Join the Aradia Fitness instructors, clients and friends at Aradia Fitness on Friday October 30th for our spooktacular and sexy Deadutante Ball… our big Halloween extravaganza!
Dress up in your favorite Halloween costume and bring your best girlfriends along for an exciting evening at the studio. We will be featuring interactive demonstrations from our Belly Dance instructor Mara and our Latin Cardio instructor Gabriella. Then some of our clients will be giving pole recitals as they demonstrate a few of the sexy pole routines they have learned! Finally the Aradia Fitness instructors will be showing off a few moves of their own with a sexy & fun performance.
But wait… THERE’S MORE!
We’ll have a Passion Party vendor on site all evening so don’t forget to bring the checkbook… you might see something you can’t leave without! Everyone will also have a chance to win some of our great prizes during our raffle at the end of the evening. And of course we will all have plenty of time to play on the poles and dance the night away!

You may know that one in eight women will be stricken with breast cancer in her lifetime. What you may not know is that you can help these women and thousands of others in the fight against breast cancer.
On June 13, 2009, Aradia Fitness will be participating in the 13th Annual Komen NC Triangle Race for the Cure in Raleigh with a great team of dedicated people.
Join the fight by registering as part of our team, ARADIA FITNESS FLIRTY GIRLS! The Aradia Fitness instructors invite all our clients, family and friends to participate with us in the Recreational 5K event. The Flirty Girls will be bold & beautiful at this event… help us make an impression!
Can’t make it on Race Day? Join us by registering to Sleep In for the Cure® or support our efforts by making a contribution to the team. Or drop off a donation in person to any of the Aradia Fitness instructors at the studio.

The money raised through the Race will fund vital education, screening and treatment programs for underserved women in our own community and will also support the national search for a cure. 75% of the dollars raised by the Komen NC Triangle Affiliate go to our local Community Grant Programs for underserved women in need of education, screening and treatment services. The remaining 25% supports the world’s largest private funding source for breast cancer research.

Meetup.com event hosted by Aradia Fitness

I recently stumbled across a new social networking website called Meetup.com. Now this website isn’t your typical social networking page, like MySpace or Facebook. In those sites, the focus is on the individual user and they are often associated with stigmas like popularity contests or online drama. (Granted we love both sites… but hey, we’ve all had our fair share of internet theatrics.)
The refreshing thing about Meetup.com is that instead of focusing on the individual, this site focuses on the groups. Meetup allows its members to search for groups that are unified by a common interest (ie: cooking or small dogs). All you have to do is provide your zip code and topic/hobby of interest… and voila! Meetup leads you to other people in your area who have created such a group.
Anywho. A friend had mentioned it in passing and being the internet junky I am, I took a few minutes one evening to peruse the site. I’m actually a newlywed (aw!) and I often joke to people I meet that my culinary skills don’t extend past Kraft Macaroni & Cheese. Little do they know I’m not really exaggerating too much! So I clicked around the site and quickly found a popular cooking group. It had a ton of members and they create numerous events every month for getting together to share recipes & eat.
Then as I was looking around, I see two popular topics of interest are “Women’s Social” and “Fitness”. I instantly knew that Aradia Fitness would perfect for Meetup.com! I ran the idea by our studio owner and she was just as excited as I was.
So a few days later I created the Cary Pole Dancing & Sensual Fitness meetup group. Within a week the membership hit over 60 ladies and the feedback was fantastic. Pole dancing for fitness is a popular idea yet too many ladies never know where to go to try it out.
So yesterday evening (Friday March 6) we held our first Meetup event at the studio and it was a huge hit!
We had 15 ladies come to the studio at 630pm. Everyone munched on light snacks for thirty minutes and got to meet the other ladies in the group. We had numerous ladies that live around town and then several traveled from as far as Clayton, Sanford, and Fayetville for a fun & flirty evening out!
At 700pm we kicked things off and took the ladies through one of our most popular events – the signature Aradia Fitness Party. The ladies first experienced our sexy warm-up & floor exercises… they were surprised and delighted about what a great workout that was! Then of course, it was time to hit to poles!
By 830pm, our vivacious ladies were twirling and sliding on the pole. They loved our sexy pole routine and couldn’t believe that they were able to perform tricks like the Fireman Spin. However, we breakall the moves down into easy to follow steps enabling our ladies to master the art form slowly and safely!
Myself and the other instructors had a blast and loved the vivacious & diverse group we got to spend the evening with! All the ladies did a fantastic job and looked amazing as they performed our routine.
With a successful first event under our belt, Aradia Fitness is planning to host a monthly Meetup at the studio.
